Los Llanos de Aridane Guided Tour

On this guided tour of Los Llanos de Aridane, we'll discover the highlights of this town in the west of La Palma, including its famous murals.

Description

We will meet at the Los Llanos Tourist Office at the scheduled time to begin our guided tour, exploring this village of La Palma and its unique murals.

Our first stop will be the Town Hall of Los Llanos and the Plaza de España, where we will admire murals on nearby buildings, including a painting that captures La Palma's essence in abstract style.

Next, we will proceed through the old town of Los Llanos de Aridane, heading toward the church of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios. Along the way, we will view La Gran Ola by artist Javier Mariscal and discuss the fusion of Atlantic and Mediterranean themes in his work. Additionally, we will observe other art pieces, such as La Ciudad de la Mirada and Bulevar de la Melancolía in the Ciudad de los Gallos.

We will continue to Plaza Chica, noted for its Canarian architecture, featuring a carved stone fountain and colorful houses. This square also showcases street art murals, making Los Llanos an authentic open-air museum.

After a total of 4 hours, the walking tour will conclude at the initial meeting point.
