Ria Formosa Bike Tour
At 10 am, we'll meet in front of The Shack restaurant in Almancil. We will start a tour through the Ria Formosa Natural Park. The 12-mile long route will take us to various corners of the Natural Park.
The estuary features a labyrinth of channels, marshes, and sandbanks. Along the way, you will learn about the importance of this environment and potentially encounter seahorses, flamingos, waterdogs, and other wildlife.
We will also observe several salt flats and discuss the local fishing tradition.
The bike tour concludes back at the starting point at approximately 12:30 pm.
Who can take part in the activity?
The minimum height required to participate in this activity is 4 ft. You must also weigh a minimum of 3 stones.
