Lucca Guided Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Piazzale Giuseppe Verdi to begin this guided tour that will lead us to discover the main monuments of Lucca.

During our guided tour, we'll walk through the historic center, a World Heritage Site and learn why Lucca is known as the City of 100 Towers & 100 Churches while admiring its emblematic buildings.

The walls of Lucca have remained almost intact since the 16th century. The city’s peace allowed these medieval fortifications to preserve their condition.

We'll visit the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, known for its shape derived from the Roman amphitheater that was located here in the 2nd century.

We'll walk along Via Fillungo, where we will see the Torre delle Ore and the Church of San Cristoforo. As we explore, we'll discuss Lucca’s significance in the history of music, as Giacomo Puccini, composer of La bohème, was born here.

We'll conclude our guided tour next to the Lucca Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of Saint Martin after 2 hours together.
