At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the statue of Garibaldi in Piazza del Giglio. Here we'll begin a guided tour to discover the importance of Lucca in the history of music. Welcome to the city of the composer of La bohème!

An important figure of Lucca who has influenced international music is Giacomo Puccini. We'll discuss this musician outside the Teatro del Giglio, an opera house from the 17th century.

During the tour, we'll stroll through the historic center of Lucca, emphasizing locations that have influenced musicians, from Francesco Geminiani and Luigi Boccherini to the Rolling Stones.

The tour will continue to Piazza Cittadella, where we'll find a sculpture in honor of Giacomo Puccini. We'll review his biography and then enter the Puccini Museum. Located in his birthplace, the exhibition includes scores, instruments, letters, and other objects that belonged to the composer.

The tour will conclude after 2 hours at the Puccini Museum.
