We will gather at the statue of Garibaldi in Piazza del Giglio at the appointed time. Our guided journey will commence as we delve into the significance of Lucca's contributions to music history. Welcome to the birthplace of the creator of La bohème!

A prominent figure whose influence resonates in the world of music is Giacomo Puccini. We will investigate his legacy outside the Teatro del Giglio, an opera venue with roots stretching back to the 17th century.

As we continue our exploration, we will wander through the historic center of Lucca, focusing on sites that have inspired a variety of musicians, from Francesco Geminiani and Luigi Boccherini to the Rolling Stones.

The tour will lead us to Piazza Cittadella, where a sculpture honoring Giacomo Puccini stands. We’ll delve into fascinating anecdotes from his life and subsequently visit the Puccini Museum. Situated in his birthplace, this exhibition showcases an array of scores, instruments, letters, and personal items that once belonged to the composer.
