Lucca Night Tour
The night tour of Lucca begins at 9 pm in Piazza San Michele. As dusk falls, the historic city center is illuminated, creating a captivating atmosphere. The tour includes visits to marble churches, notably San Michele in Foro, which was constructed over an ancient Roman forum. Participants will learn about local history and discover various landmarks.
Next, we travel to Piazza Napoleone to view the exterior of the Palazzo Ducale, originating from the 14th century. Close by is the Teatro del Giglio, the opera house, and St. Martin's Cathedral. Guests are encouraged to take photos of these significant sites.
The journey continues to the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, a renowned area in Lucca's historic center. Strolling along Via Fillungo, participants will see other historic structures, including the Basilica of San Frediano and the Torre delle Ore, the town's clock tower.
After 2 hours of exploration, the tour concludes back at the original meeting point.
