Jungfraujoch Day Trip Itinerary

Departing from Lucerne at 9 am, you'll travel through the landscapes of rural Switzerland toward the Bernese Oberland. A stop will be made in Interlaken, before continuing to Grindelwald.

In Grindelwald, you'll ascend on the Eiger Express gondola lift to Glacier Eiger station. Thereafter, a cogwheel train will take you through tunnels to Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jungfraujoch offers views over the Mönch and Jungfrau mountains and the Eiger glacier. Attractions include the Alpine Sensation adventure tour, with access to the Sphinx Observation Terrace and Plateau viewpoint and the Ice Palace.

You will spend between 2 and 2.5 hours at Jungfraujoch, after which you'll descend via the cogwheel train, passing by Kleine Scheidegg and the picturesque Lauterbrunnen Valley.

The excursion concludes back at Lauterbrunnen around 7 pm, where a bus will take you back to Lucerne.
