Discover the "top of Europe" on this day trip to Jungfraujoch, exploring glacier-marked valleys and peaks with panoramic views of the Swiss Alps.
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Landenberg bus parking. We'll travel through the rural landscapes of Switzerland to the Bernese Oberland, known for its villages, mountains, and over 800 lakes. There will be a stop in Interlaken, the tourism capital of the Bernese Alps, before proceeding to Grindelwald.
In Grindelwald, you'll ascend on the Eiger Express gondola lift to Glacier Eiger station. From there, we will take the cogwheel train through tunnels to reach Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe.
Jungfraujoch, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers views over the Mönch and Jungfrau mountains and the Eiger glacier, along with attractions like the Alpine Sensation adventure tour, Sphinx Observation Terrace and Plateau viewpoint, and the Ice Palace.
We'll spend 2 to 2.5 hours at Jungfraujoch, then descend by cogwheel train, passing Kleine Scheidegg, Wengen, and Lauterbrunnen Valley. The bus will take us back to Lucerne, concluding this 10-hour day trip.
