At a time of your choice, we'll meet at your hotel in Lucerne or at another central location in the city.

We'll start our private tour of Lucerne with a walk through the historic centre, home to the Kapellbrücke, or Chapel Bridge, one of the oldest wooden bridges in Europe, dating back to the 14th century. It spans the River Reuss and is a highly photographed landmark.

Adjacent to the bridge is the Wasserturm or Water Tower, a symbol of the old town. After crossing the Kapellbrücke, we will see the Altes Rathaus, the old Town Hall built in the 16th century in the Florentine Renaissance style.

The tour continues with a visit to the Lion Monument, a tribute to over 700 Swiss Guards who died during the French Revolution. Nearby is the Lucerne Glacier Garden, an ancient cave rich in history. We will conclude with a walk along the shores of the Lake of the Four Cantons.

After two hours of sightseeing, we will conclude the tour in the city centre.
