After being picked up from your hotel, you'll head from Lugo to Castro de Rei, where the ancient ruins of Castro de Viladonga are situated.
Upon arrival at the pre-Roman hillfort, you will have a guided tour of the archaeological site. The site offers a glimpse into the "Castro culture" found throughout north-western Spain and Portugal.

Next, you’ll visit Fonmiñá Lake, near the town of Meira, to walk around the natural landscapes of the Miño River source and uncover legends tied to the springs from the Pedregal de Irimia.
