Advanced Hiking in Potrerillos

When making your booking, you can choose from two advanced hiking routes in Potrerillos. Both last between 6 and 7 hours, include an English-speaking guide, and start from the Parque de Aventura:

Las Cabras Hike

We'll take a bus to El Salto, where we'll begin a high-intensity hike. We'll spend 5 hours walking through the gorge until we reach the famous waterfall. If conditions allow, you can cool off in the waterfall.

The hike continues to Las Cabras Hill. Upon reaching the summit, we will have lunch consisting of sandwiches, fruit, juice, and water before returning to the starting point.

This hike is recommended in winter.

Arenales Hill Hike

We'll depart from the Parque de Aventura and travel by bus to the Vallecitos area. There, we'll hike up to the summit of Arenales Hill, located at an altitude of 11,076 feet (3,376 meters). This route is moderate to difficult.

At the summit, we'll have a picnic lunch of sandwiches, fruit, juice, and water. In winter, we will walk in the snow, and renting snowshoes is recommended.

This hike is recommended in summer.
