Learn how to make an authentic Argentinian BBQ with a chef in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, using techniques from the west of Argentina.
Workshop Details
Participants will meet at the Braseando Experience restaurant, where the BBQ experience begins with a local chef. The session will cover the preparation of ingredients and tools, fire-starting techniques, and the seasoning of meat and vegetables, including achieving the perfect grill temperature.
Step-by-step, participants will prepare popular chimichurri and creole sauces and make dough for empanadas. Local wine or refreshing vermuts will be available for tasting.
Additionally, the experience includes making mate, a drink cherished by Argentinians since prehispanic times, once considered medicinal and referred to as the "herb of the devil" in colonial times.
Upon completion of the BBQ, participants will enjoy the meal in a garden setting, benefiting from a family atmosphere and views of the Mendoza mountains. The activity lasts a total of 5 hours.
