On the day of the activity, you'll gather at Boulevard de la Pétrusse & Place de Metz at the scheduled time. The trip will begin with a journey through Luxembourg’s natural wonders, including green valleys and picturesque forests.
The audio-guided excursion starts at the Mullerthal trail and Schiessentümpel waterfall. Enjoy a 45-minute hike along the river surrounded by forest, concluding at the waterfalls, a well-known spot in "Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland".
Next, we'll visit Beaufort, where you’ll explore the Beaufort Castle, a significant historical site featuring a medieval castle from the 11th century and a Renaissance chateau from the 1600s, during spring and summer months.
Your next destination is the medieval town of Vianden, located by the River Our. You'll have 2.5 hours of free time to explore, with a highlight being Vianden Castle, one of Europe's largest feudal residences from Gothic and Romanesque periods.
The final stop will be at Echternach, the oldest town in Luxembourg, where you'll have 45 minutes to explore its Basilica, abbey, and marketplace, notably the burial place of Saint Willibrord. After this, we'll return to the starting point in approximately 7 to 8 hours.
