Discover Ancient Egypt: Luxor Experience

At the agreed time, we will collect you from your hotel or vessel in Luxor, setting the tone for an enriching day alongside the Nile River.

Our journey begins at the Luxor Temple, a pivotal site in the ancient city of Thebes. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it features stunning highlights like the Avenue of the Sphinxes, a captivating array of towering columns, and monumental statues of Egyptian pharaohs, such as Ramses II.

Following our visit, we will head to Karnak, noted as the largest temple complex in Ancient Egypt. Inside this grand site, which houses the remarkable sanctuary of Amun, we will appreciate the intricate carvings on the obelisks of Thutmose I and Hatshepsut, then proceed into the revered hypostyle hall.

After exploring Karnak, we will cross the Nile to arrive at the Valley of the Kings. Here, the burial sites of pharaohs, including Tutankhamun and Ramses II, unveil the rituals of ancient funerary practices. In addition, we'll visit the Valley of the Queens, where we discover the resting places of royal family members from the New Empire.

Our experience advances to the Temple of Hatshepsut, revered as "the sublime of the sublime." This monumental site honors the first female pharaoh of Egypt during the 18th Dynasty, marking a pinnacle in the history of Pharaonic civilization. Our day will conclude at the Colossi of Memnon, where we will admire the grand statues representing Amenhotep III.

After an engaging 7.5 hours of exploration, we will return you to your hotel or boat in Luxor.

Please be aware that pickup and drop-off services are provided for those staying on the east bank (right bank) of the Nile River. If your accommodation is located outside this area, we will arrange a meeting point on the east bank. The return drop-off will be at the same location along the river where we initially picked you up.
