On this tour, we'll visit two significant temples in Egypt: the Luxor Temple and Karnak, separated by the Avenue of the Sphinxes, 3 kilometers (1.86 mi) long.
Tour Details
We will pick you up from your hotel or the boat where you are staying at 7 pm, and proceed to the east bank of Luxor, known as Thebes, the capital of Egypt during the pharaonic period.
Our first stop will be the Temple of Karnak, the largest in Egypt, with a perimeter of 2,400 meters, dominating Luxor's landscape. Constructed across more than 2,000 years by 67 pharaohs, it was dedicated to the sun god Ra.
Our second stop will be the Luxor Temple, the most important monument in the city and the second largest temple after Thebes. It was built with the contributions of various Pharaohs, including Ramses II, Ramses III, and Amenhotep II, and completed in the 20th century B.C., dedicated to the god Amun.
The tour will conclude at your hotel or boat.
Hotel Pickup
This activity includes pickup and drop-off only at hotels and boats in Luxor located on the eastern banks of the River Nile. Upon returning, you will be dropped off at the same location.
