On this visit, we'll see the Luxor Museum and the Museum of Mummification, the two most important museums in Egypt after the Cairo Egyptian Museum.
Itinerary
After picking you up at your hotel or boat, we'll head to the Luxor Museum, the second most visited museum in Egypt. This museum exhibits pieces excavated from historically significant sites in the region, including the Luxor and Karnak temples. The collection features jewels, ceramics, statues, and stone tablets, with highlights such as objects belonging to Tutankhamun and the statue of Thutmose III.
Next, we will visit the Mummification Museum, protected by the god Anubis. Inaugurated in 1997, this museum details the 70-day mummification process, explaining the tools used and the social exclusion faced by those who worked on the mummies.
After this history lesson, we will return you to your hotel.
Pickup
This activity includes pickup and drop-off from hotels and boats in Luxor along the Nile River's eastern banks. If your accommodation is on the western banks, we will arrange a meeting point with you.
