Discover some of the best-conserved funeral monuments of the New Kingdom on this tour, visiting the burial site of Ramses III and the necropolis of the nobles and artisans.

Tour Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel first thing in the morning, making our way to the west bank of Luxor, where the necropolis of ancient Thebes is located.

Our first stop will be Medinet Habu, the burial temple of Ramses III, which features an entrance 63 meters wide and 22 meters tall, depicting the pharaoh punishing prisoners.

The tour will continue to the Valley of the Nobles, containing over 500 tombs of Egyptian aristocracy. We will explore several tombs to admire their well-preserved decorations due to being less targeted by grave robbers.

Our final stop will be Deir el-Medina, established by Thutmose I as a home for workers and artisans, which was inhabited for over 450 years. Archaeological evidence makes it a significant site from this period.

The tour concludes back at your hotel or the boat where you're staying.
