Rhone Valley Wine & Cheese Tasting
We'll meet in front of the Lyon Tourist Office at 2 pm. From there, you'll board a minibus to the Rhône Valley, exploring its wines and cheeses. The route includes the Côte-Rôtie and the Pilat Regional Nature Park, which features some of the oldest vineyards in France.
After a 30-minute drive, we'll reach a typical farm in the park, where you'll meet a goat cheese producer. You'll then enjoy a pleasant walk through the farm, interacting with the goats and learning about the cheeses they produce.
Following the cheese experience, you'll visit a nearby winery for a wine tasting. You will sample 5 local wines, each paired with different cheeses. The renowned wines from our area, including Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, and Saint-Joseph, will enhance your tasting experience!
The tour concludes with a return to the Lyon Tourist Office, Place Bellecour at approximately 6 pm.
