Rhone Valley Wine & Cheese Tasting

We'll meet in front of the Lyon Tourist Office at 2 pm. From there, you'll board a minibus to explore the Rhône Valley, including the renowned Côte-Rôtie and the Pilat Regional Nature Park, which features some of the oldest vineyards in France.

After a 30-minute drive, we will arrive at a typical farm in the park, where you will meet a goat cheese producer. You will then enjoy a pleasant walk through the farm, interacting with the goats and learning about the cheeses they produce.

Once you have sampled the cheeses, we will take you to a nearby winery for a tasting session. You will enjoy a tasting of 5 local wines, paired with various cheeses that complement each wine. The greatest appellations from our area, such as Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, and Saint-Joseph, will enhance your tasting experience.

The visit will conclude with a return to the Lyon Tourist Office, Place Bellecour at around 6 pm.
