Rhone Valley Wine Tour

We'll meet at 10 am in front of the Tourist Office in Place Bellecour to start this excursion.

After a 30-minute drive south, you'll arrive in the Côte-Rôtie vineyards. Accompanied by the guide, you'll walk on the steep slopes where the vines are planted to understand what makes this controlled designation of origin red wine exceptional. You'll taste between 5 and 6 wines, including Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, and Côte-Rôtie.

You will then have one hour free in the winery and vineyard to explore local cuisine before discovering the Hermitage vineyards.

Subsequently, we'll visit a vineyard appellation in the northern Rhone Valley, on the left bank of the Rhone. Here, you can enjoy wines with aromas of red fruits and flowers. You will try another 5 or 6 different wines.

We will then take a stroll to the top of Hermitage hill to enjoy the view of the Rhone Valley.

The tour concludes with a return to the departure point in Lyon, arriving at around 6 pm.
