Rhone Valley Wine Tour

We will meet at 10 am in front of the Tourist Office in Place Bellecour to begin this excursion designed for wine enthusiasts.

After a 30-minute drive south, you will arrive at the prestigious Côte-Rôtie vineyards. Accompanied by a guide, you will walk on the steep slopes to understand the unique qualities of this controlled designation of origin red wine. During this segment, you will have the opportunity to taste between 5 and 6 wines, including Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, and Côte-Rôtie.

Following this, you will have an hour of free time in the winery and vineyard, allowing for a taste of local cuisine before proceeding to explore the Hermitage vineyards.

Next, the tour will visit a vineyard appellation in the northern Rhone valley, located on the left bank of the Rhone, where you will sample 5 or 6 different wines characterized by aromas of red fruits and flowers.

A stroll to the top of Hermitage hill will provide a view of the Rhone Valley before concluding the tour. We will return to the departure point in Lyon, arriving at approximately 6 pm.
