4-Day Trek to Machu Picchu

Day 1: Urubamba - Lares - Cuncani

We will pick you up at your hotel in Urubamba at the indicated time to start the trekking journey. Our first stop will be at the Calca market for snacks. Next, we will visit the natural pools in Lares for a swim before enjoying a regional lunch. After lunch, we will proceed to Cuncani, where we will set up our first night's campsite and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Cuncani - Pumahuanca Pass - Paccha

After an early breakfast, we will hike towards Sahuasiray Mountain and Colque Cruz. Weather permitting, we will have panoramic views from the summit. We will stop for lunch before reaching Pumahuanca Pass at 5,318 meters (17,447 feet) and then continue to Paccha for dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 3: Paccha - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

We will begin with breakfast at camp and hike to a local fish farm to learn about trout farming. After lunch, we will travel by car to Ollantaytambo station and take a train to Aguas Calientes, where we will stay at a 3-star hotel and have dinner.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Urubamba

On our final day, we will have breakfast at the hotel before visiting Machu Picchu for two hours. After exploring, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then take a train back to Ollantaytambo. We will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel in Urubamba.

Accommodation

The tour includes 2 nights in tents with breakfast at Cuncani and Paccha campsites, and one night in a 3-star hotel with breakfast in Aguas Calientes.
