Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel early in the morning and head to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes. The train trip is a highlight, taking you through stunning Andean landscapes with great views from the glass roof of the train. After an hour and a half, we'll arrive in Aguas Calientes.

Upon arrival, we will take a bus to the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu. Prepare for a 2.5-hour guided tour where our knowledgeable guide will share stories and secrets about this site. You'll explore places like the House of the Guardian, highlighting the Incan civilization.

After the tour, we'll return to Aguas Calientes where you'll have five hours of free time to have lunch and explore. We will reconvene at the train station to return to Ollantaytambo, arriving back at your hotel between 6 and 7 pm.

Travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incas aboard a train with massive windows and a glass roof. Reservations can be made for either tourist class (Expedition train) or first class (Vistadome train).

If alternative routes sell out, remaining options (scenic tours) may be offered for an additional guide fee of 70USD (1 person) or 35USD (2 people).

In case of cancellations due to strikes or weather conditions, an alternative date will be provided, or a full refund for the tour will be offered, excluding the non-cancellable entrance fee to Machu Picchu (200 PEN).
