Day Trip to Machu Picchu

Explore the Andes and Machu Picchu on this day trip to one of the 7 Wonders of the World.

Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel early in the morning and travel to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes. The train journey, lasting an hour and a half, passes through stunning Andean landscapes, with great views from the glass roof of the train. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will take a bus to Machu Picchu, where a 2.5-hour guided tour will provide insights into the history and grandeur of the Incan civilization.

After the tour, you'll have five hours of free time to explore Aguas Calientes before regrouping at the train station for our return trip to Ollantaytambo. The excursion concludes at your hotel between 6 and 7 pm.

Panoramic train

Traveling through the Sacred Valley and Andes on a train with large windows and a glass roof enhances the experience. You may choose between tourist class (Expedition train) or first class (Vistadome train) at the time of reservation.

Discount for the Andean Community

Visitors from the Andean Community (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru) receive a discount for this trip to Machu Picchu.

If these options are unavailable, remaining scenic tour options will incur an additional guide fee of 70USD for 1 person or 35USD for 2 people.

In case of cancellation due to strikes or poor weather, an alternative date will be provided, or a full refund minus the non-cancellable entrance fee to Machu Picchu (200 PEN) will be issued.
