The tour meets at the Aguas Calientes train station, followed by a 45-minute journey to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, a two-hour tour of the archaeological site begins. Machu Picchu is situated in the Andes mountain range, at 2430 meters (8,000 feet) above sea level.
