Train Options
During booking, you can choose your train type for the journey from Machu Picchu to Cusco, which lasts from three and a half to four hours.
Expedition Train
The Expedition train offers one of the most spectacular routes. Large windows provide stunning views, accompanied by Peruvian music. The following schedules are available:

Vistadome Train

Arrival Stations

Rainy Season
From January to April, train operations are irregular. Reservations can be made directly from Ollantaytambo.
Limited Availability
This activity has limited capacity. Therefore, book in advance. Official tickets will be sent within 72 hours of reservation.
Bimodal Bus + Train Service
Until 30 April 2024, please note the following:
Due to operational issues, services from Poroy and San Pedro will utilize a bimodal service (bus + train). The buses will transfer passengers with specific frequencies from Wanchaq station to Ollantaytambo station, and vice versa. Passengers must arrive at Wanchaq station at least 30 minutes before their bus departure.

The chosen time during booking is approximate, and the train ride can take place at any time available on the selected day.
