Complete Toledo Day Trip

On this day trip to Toledo from Madrid, we'll explore the City of Three Cultures. Included are tickets to the Primatial Cathedral, Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, Church of Santo Tomé, Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, and Mosque of Cristo de la Luz.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at Calle San Nicolás, 15 and depart by bus to Toledo, located 70 kilometers south of Madrid, with a coffee stop along the way.

Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe’s oldest cities, is known for its rich history where Muslim, Christian, and Jewish communities coexisted. It boasts architecture from the Renaissance, Baroque, Gothic, and Al Andalus styles.

The tour begins with a walking tour of Toledo's historical centre, visiting the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes and the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca.

We will then visit the Church of Santo Tomé to see The Burial of the Count of Orgaz. Next, we will explore the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz. Tour options include a tapas lunch, or free time for lunch lasting approximately 1.5 hours.

After lunch, we’ll visit Toledo Cathedral and take a sightseeing tour, concluding at the Mirador del Valle for panoramic photos of Toledo. The day ends in the Plaza de Oriente in Madrid after 8 hours of exploration.
