We'll meet at the indicated time at Calle San Nicolás. From this central point of Madrid, we'll depart by bus and head to Toledo, located 70 kilometers (43 miles) south of Madrid, with a coffee stop en route.

The historic center of Toledo, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is among the oldest in Europe and is known as the “City of the Three Cultures,” where Muslim, Christian, and Jewish communities coexisted. The Old Town features landmarks with Renaissance, Baroque, Gothic, and Al Andalus architecture.

We'll visit the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes to stroll through its cloisters, the Santa María la Blanca Synagogue with its Mudejar art museum, and the Church of Santo Tomé, home to El Greco's “The Burial of the Count of Orgaz.”

Next is the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz, built in the 10th century. Tour participants can choose a tapas lunch or have free time for lunch. After lunch, we’ll visit Toledo Cathedral and continue with a sightseeing tour of the city followed by a visit to the Mirador del Valle for panoramic photos.

After 8 hours of exploring Toledo's architecture and art, we'll conclude the tour in Plaza de Oriente, Madrid.
