Day Trip to Toledo, Segovia and Ávila

We will meet in the centre of Madrid at the indicated time and begin our journey to Toledo, a World Heritage Site. In Toledo, known as the City of Three Cultures, we will walk through the old town and admire the exterior of the Alcazar, the Cathedral of Toledo, and the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. An interior visit to the Cathedral may be possible if availability allows.

Next, we will head to Segovia, where you will have free time for lunch. After lunch, we will explore the Roman Aqueduct and discuss its significance. We will also view the cathedral and visit the Alcazar of Segovia, a historical military fortress.

After Segovia, we will arrive in Ávila, known for its impressive walls and historic centre. We will admire the city's well-preserved walled enclosure and explore the medieval citadel and Ávila Cathedral. A visit to the Mirador de los Cuatro Postes viewpoint will provide stunning views of the city.

Finally, we will return to Madrid, completing our tour between 11 and 13 hours after departure.

Itinerary Order

The order of visits may vary for organisational reasons. On some days, we may first visit Segovia and have lunch there, followed by Ávila, and conclude the day with Toledo before returning to Madrid.
