Sierra de Guadarrama National Park Day Trip

Enjoy a day away from the hustle and bustle of Madrid with this day trip to the Sierra Guadarrama National Park. We'll also visit Manzanares El Real and the Monastery of El Paular.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the designated time at Plaza de España in central Madrid. From there, we'll board a comfortable bus heading north towards the Sierra Guadarrama National Park. A route of environmental value awaits us, showcasing beautiful landscapes and monuments.

In less than an hour, we'll reach our first stop, the Manzanares El Real Castle, where we will see the Castle of the Mendoza from outside, a 15th-century fortress. Please take a picture!

Next, we'll head to La Pedriza for a walking tour to discover the area's geological richness and local fauna, exploring notable areas of the Sierra de Guadarrama including the port of Cotos and Navacerradas.

Our route will continue to Rascafría, where you will have the opportunity for lunch on your own at a restaurant. After lunch, we'll pass by two icons in Rascafría: the Finnish Forest and the Monastery of El Paular, which we'll view from outside.

Lastly, we will return to the starting point in Madrid, arriving 10 hours after pickup.
