Toledo Day Trip + Wine Tasting

We'll meet at Julio Camba Street in Madrid at 9 am and set off for Toledo, the City of Three Cultures. During the one-hour journey, we'll discuss the historical significance of this location where Christians, Muslims, and Jews lived together.

Upon arrival in Toledo, we'll go to the Valley Viewpoint for city views. After this, we will explore its narrow medieval streets and understand why it was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The guide will discuss the significant historical events that occurred in the "Imperial City". A walking tour will take us to the San Juan de Los Reyes monastery.

We will also visit the Jewish quarter, the church of Santo Tomé, home to the burial of Count Ordaz, and the Santa María la Blanca synagogue.

You will then have free time to explore further, with access included to sites such as the Mezquita del Cristo de la Luz, the Iglesia de los Jesuitas, the Iglesia del Salvador, and the Real Colegio de Doncellas Nobles.

Next, we will visit a wine cellar to learn about the production of La Mancha wine. You will taste 3 wines (one white and two red) with an expert, accompanied by local tapas such as chorizo, cheese, and olives.

We will conclude the tour and return to Madrid at approximately 6 pm.
