Toledo Day Trip + Wine Tasting
Meeting point is at Julio Camba Street in Madrid. The journey to Toledo, known as the City of Three Cultures, takes approximately one hour, during which the guide will discuss the historical significance of the area where Christians, Muslims and Jews coexisted.
Upon arrival, the first stop will be the Valley Viewpoint for city views. The tour will continue through narrow medieval streets, emphasizing Toledo's status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Key historical events from the "Imperial City" will be shared as the group visits the San Juan de Los Reyes monastery, the Jewish quarter, the church of Santo Tomé (burial site of Count Ordaz), and Santa María la Blanca synagogue.
Free time will be provided for self-exploration, with an entrance fee included for the Mezquita del Cristo de la Luz, Iglesia de los Jesuitas, Iglesia del Salvador, and Real Colegio de Doncellas Nobles.
The tour will conclude with a visit to a wine cellar for insights into the wine-making process. Participants will taste 3 wines, one white and two red, along with regional tapas such as chorizo, cheese, and sausage. The experience lasts a total of 7 hours and 15 minutes, ending with a return to Madrid.
