Day Trip to Lugano + Bellinzona

Join us as we venture past the border of Italy to visit Lugano and Bellinzona, two towns in the canton of Ticino!

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point and begin our day filled with beautiful landscapes. Crossing the border, we will enter Ticino, the southernmost canton of Switzerland. Our first stop is the Alprose factory to see how their chocolates are made.

Next, we continue to Lugano, where you will have 2 hours of free time to stroll along Lugano Lake, sample local cuisine, and visit the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. You may also shop in the historic center.

In the afternoon, we reconvene in Lugano and head towards Bellinzona. Here, we'll view the Castles of Castelgrande and Montebello. You'll then have another hour of free time in Bellinzona for exploring its medieval old town, shopping, or having a drink.

Finally, we will return to the meeting point approximately 11 to 11.5 hours later.
