Explore Milan's fascinating canal system on our Navigli Canals Boat Trip. You'll sail along these 12th-century waterways and discover their history with your audio guide in English!

Navigli Canals Boat Trip

At your chosen time, we'll meet at the Alzaia Naviglio Grande on the banks of the Navigli Canals. Boarding starts before we sail through one of Milan's famous districts.

The boat trip starts with views of the Case di Ringhiera, typical houses of Milan's working-class areas. You will also see the 13th-century Church of San Cristoforo.

While in the capital of Lombardy, enjoy informative stories about the sights with your audio guide in English, including the invention of mascarpone as we pass cheese workshops.

During the trip, you'll see the historic Canottieri Milano Olona rowing club and the Vicolo dei Lavandai, known for washing clothes of wealthy families in the 18th century.

Other highlights include Scodellino bridge, a lively dock area, and one of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions. Remember to bring your camera.

After 45 minutes to 1 hour, we will return to the starting point to conclude our boat trip.

Add an Aperitif

Experience the Milanese ritual of the aperitif to enhance your boat trip! Choose this option for the same scenic route, with the addition of a drink and locally-prepared delicacies.

While cruising, enjoy the charming railing houses, now bustling bars and restaurants that make this area vibrant.
