You'll travel along one of the most fascinating train routes in the world, passing through the Bernina Strait, across the Swiss Alps, and on to St. Moritz.
Swiss Alps + St Moritz by Train
Departing from Milan, we will head north, crossing the Lake District to reach St. Moritz, known as "The Summit of the World." In St. Moritz, you will have free time to explore shops or enjoy hot chocolate. The Bernina Express route departs from St. Moritz at 1:30 pm.
You will board a regional train that follows the same route as the Bernina Express, taking a journey of 2.5 hours to Tirano. The trip includes views of the spiral viaduct at Brusio, the Bernina Pass, and the Engadina valley.
Upon arrival in Tirano, we will return to Milan by coach, concluding this 12.5-hour activity.
Schedule and Meeting Points
Depending on the schedule you choose, departure from Milan will occur at the following times:
7:15 am: Departure from Largo Cairoli, 18, on the corner of Foro Buonaparte.7:45 am: Departure from Piazza Duca D'Aosta, located in front of Milan Central Train Station.
