The Path of the Lemons Hike

Join us from Maiori on this hiking route along the Sentiero dei Limoni, or 'The Path of the Lemons'. You'll be surrounded by the aromas of the Mediterranean as you admire the Amalfi Coast.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Corso Reginna in Maiori to start our hiking route along The Path of the Lemons, a panoramic road with views of the Amalfi Coast.

We'll begin our experience by entering a pastry shop to taste a lemon dessert typical of the area. After this, we will climb to the church of Santa Maria a Mare, dating back to the 12th century, to admire its dome.

Along the route, we will see the macerine, terraces where lemon trees grow using traditional techniques. Additionally, we will encounter Roman ruins among olive trees, vineyards, and pine trees.

After a short break for homemade lemonade, we will continue to the village of Torre, home to the church of San Michele Arcangelo, known for lemon production.

After learning the history of Torre, we will walk toward Minori, where we will view the bell tower of the Basilica of Santa Trofimena.

We will conclude our activity in Piazza Ettore e Gaetano Cantilena, after approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of walking.
