Join us from Maiori on this hiking route along the Sentiero dei Limoni, or 'The Path of the Lemons'. You'll be surrounded by the aromas of the Mediterranean as you admire the Amalfi Coast.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Corso Reginna in Maiori and start our hiking route along The Path of the Lemons, a panoramic road with views of the Amalfi Coast.

To begin the route, we'll enter a pastry shop to taste a lemon dessert typical of the area. Energized, we'll climb up to the church of Santa Maria a Mare, dating back to the 12th century, and admire its dome from the outside.

Along the way, we'll see typical terraces, called macerine, where lemon trees are cultivated using traditional techniques. We'll also observe Roman ruins amidst Mediterranean vegetation, including olive trees, vineyards, and pine trees.

After a short break for freshly made homemade lemonade, we'll continue until we reach the village of Torre, known for the church of San Michele Arcangelo, the primary production area for lemons.

After hearing the history of this village, we'll take the path to Minori. As we approach, we'll see the bell tower of the Basilica of Santa Trofimena, the village's patron saint. The history of her relics is remarkable.

In front of this church, at Piazza Ettore e Gaetano Cantilena, we'll conclude the activity after about 2.5 to 3 hours of walking.
