Join us from Maiori on this hiking route along the Sentiero dei Limoni, or 'The Path of the Lemons', surrounded by the aromas of the Mediterranean while admiring the Amalfi Coast.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we will meet at Corso Reginna in Maiori. The hiking route along The Path of the Lemons features panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast.

To commence the route, we will visit a pastry shop to taste a lemon dessert typical of the area. Afterward, we will climb to the church of Santa Maria a Mare, which dates back to the 12th century, and admire its dome from the outside.

During the hike, we will observe the typical terraces, known as macerine, where lemon trees are cultivated using traditional agricultural techniques. Roman ruins will also be visible among the Mediterranean vegetation, including olive trees, vineyards, and pine trees.

After a short break for freshly made homemade lemonade, we will continue the route to the village of Torre, home to the church of San Michele Arcangelo, known for the majority of lemon production.

After learning about the history of this small village, we will take the path to Minori, where the bell tower of the Basilica of Santa Trofimena, the village's patron saint, can be seen. The history of her relics will be shared during the walk.

We will conclude the activity after approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of walking in front of the church in Piazza Ettore e Gaetano Cantilena.
