Tradition, culture and delicious food await on our Ceuta & Tétouan Day Trip. We'll visit these two cities on the African continent and discover their main monuments, as well as attend a traditional folk show.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point and head to the Port of Algeciras by bus. After a 1-hour ferry crossing over the Strait of Gibraltar, we'll arrive in Ceuta and head for the Morocco-Spain border. Once crossed, we'll take a bus to Tétouan, where we'll spend the next 5 hours.
The day includes a walking tour of Tétouan, featuring Hassan II Square, the Royal Palace, the old Jewish quarter, and the souk. We'll visit the Medina of Tetouan, a World Heritage Site.
Following the tour, we'll take a break for lunch in a local restaurant while watching a traditional folk show. The meal will include harira soup, couscous, kebabs, mint tea, and Moroccan pastries. After lunch, we'll visit a Moroccan pharmacy to explore natural products and learn about argan oil.
We'll return to Ceuta for the ferry back, viewing San Felipe Moat and the Royal Walls from the bus. The adventure lasts between 12 and 18 hours before dropping you off at the starting point.
