Itinerary
At 10:30 am, you'll begin your guided walking tour of Malaga city centre from the glass pyramid on Calle Alcazabilla.
As you walk up Calle Alcazabilla, you will discover the city's Roman legacy and visit the ancient theatre. You will then learn about the city's Arabic history during a guided tour of the Alcazaba, which is noted for its historical significance and legends.
Your tour will continue to Plaza de la Merced, home to the monument to General Torrijos, executed in 1831. In the plaza, you will learn about the life and work of Pablo Ruiz Picasso at his Birthplace Museum.
The next stop will be El Sagrario church, built between the 15th and 18th centuries. You will walk by Plaza del Obispo and continue to the Cathedral of Malaga, known as "La Manquita", or the "One-Armed Lady".
The tour will conclude at approximately 2 pm.
