Pablo Ruiz Picasso, Malaga's best-known painter and a significant 20th-century artist, has a dedicated museum in his birthplace. The museum showcases his life and works, allowing visitors to explore at their own pace with the aid of an audioguide available in multiple languages including English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Chinese.
The museum offers a thematic tour highlighting Picasso's connection with Malaga, illustrating how his hometown influenced his art. Notable exhibitions include sketchbooks, a substantial display of lithographs, and a collection of decorated ceramics. A flexible ticket provides access to both the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions featuring unique collectibles by Picasso and other artists.

Reservations allow for flexible visitation. Present your voucher at the ticket office. The Picasso Museum operates under the following hours:
Every day of the year (including Sundays & holidays): 9:30 am - 8 pmDecember 24 & 31: 9:30 am - 3 pm
Note that these hours may change. Visitors cannot enter less than 15 minutes before closing time.
Special Hours
From August 17th to 25th, during the Feria de Malaga, the museum will be open from 9:30 am to 3 pm (doors close at 2:30 pm).
