Located in the artist's birthplace in the heart of Malaga's historic centre, the Pablo Picasso Museum is a place to discover the life and works of the artist.
Description
"The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls", said Pablo Ruiz Picasso, and this museum, situated in his birthplace, showcases his life. Visitors can explore at their own pace, discovering different rooms featuring the art and personal belongings of the painter with the aid of an audioguide available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Chinese.
The thematic tour highlights Picasso's connection with Malaga, demonstrating the influence of his hometown on his personality and works. Notable exhibitions include sketchbooks, lithographs, and a collection of decorated ceramics. The flexible ticket provides access to both permanent and temporary exhibitions, showcasing unique collectibles signed by Picasso and other artists.
Opening times
Upon reservation, visitors can present their voucher at the ticket office. The museum operates at the following times:

Note that these hours are subject to change and entry is not permitted less than 15 minutes before closing.
Special Hours
From August 17th to 25th, during the Feria de Malaga, the museum will be open from 9:30 am to 3 pm (doors close at 2:30 pm).
