We'll pick you up at your hotel in Malang at 8 am and head north to the district of Singosari to discover one of its most representative handicraft traditions.

After an hour's drive, we'll reach the town of Klampok, home to the Singhasari Museum. Here we'll tour its rooms to observe sculptures and local craftsmanship and learn about the batik technique, which typically uses beeswax and kerosene for fabric decoration.

After the museum visit, we'll move to a workshop to learn how to decorate fabrics using this traditional method. You can select designs and recreate them on fabric with materials such as brushes and canting (or tjanting), a pen with a metal tip to apply wax.

Once the drawing is finished, we'll wait for it to dry while enjoying a typical Indonesian lunch. At the end of the workshop, we'll return to Malang and drop you back off at your hotel, arriving around 3 pm.
