Sunrise Day Trip to Mount Bromo

On this day trip to Mount Bromo from Malang, you'll discover the most famous volcano on the island of Java and enjoy the views of an Indonesian sunrise from this mountain.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Malang and begin our journey northeast in an offroading vehicle.

After approximately 1 hour of travel, passing by the beautiful landscapes of east Java, we'll reach Mount Bromo National Park, part of the Tengger massif. We will admire the sunrise from Penanjakan Hill or King Kong Hill, based on weather conditions.

After the sunrise, we'll start a hike up to the volcano crater. This hike will take 3 to 4 hours, depending on the group’s pace, with stops to rest and appreciate the scenery. Bring breakfast for the hike.

Finally, we'll begin our return journey and head back to your hotel in Malang, completing a total of 11.5 hours.
