Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the centre of Malé to commence this guided tour.

We will start by visiting the Malé Friday Mosque, a 16th-century coral mosque that houses the tomb of Abu-al-Barakat, the figure responsible for the country's conversion to Islam.

Next, we will proceed to Sultan Park, established in honor of the island's first Sultan, as well as the Presidential Palace and Independence Square, also known as Jumhooree Maidhaan.

Following these iconic visits and learning about the history of the Maldives, we will head to a fish market to explore the significance of this industry for the island's residents.

The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in the city centre, lasting approximately 3 hours in total.
