We will begin our day at 8 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Malia. Embarking on a jeep, we will make our way towards the southern part of Crete. Prepare for a journey filled with stunning mountains, enchanting villages, and idyllic beaches.

Our first stop will be Agios Myronas, a village rich in the island’s history. Here, you will hear fascinating tales and legends regarding the healing properties associated with the holy water of Agios Myronas.

Continuing our exploration, we will arrive at the quaint village of Prinias, where we will visit the Rakokazano. Here, you’ll gain insight into the tradition of raki production, a local spirit, and enjoy a tasting accompanied by delicious homemade sweets.

Next, we will ascend the foothills of Asterousia Mountain! Climbing to an elevation of 800 meters (2625 ft), we will be rewarded with unforgettable views of Crete’s stunning landscapes from above.

Our adventure leads us through the spectacular gorges of Asterousia, culminating at the serene Trypitis Beach. While admiring the breathtaking southern coast, we will refuel with a delightful meal, featuring a main dish, salad, and dessert.

No visit to Trypitis would be complete without a refreshing swim! You will have the opportunity to dive into the crystal-clear waters before we continue our journey.

Finally, our safari tour concludes at Agios Thomas, where we will explore ancient Roman tombs and Byzantine churches. We aim to return you to your hotel in Malia by approximately 4 pm.
