Asterousia Mountain & Villages Jeep Safari

The tour begins with a pickup at 8 am from your hotel in Malia. We will travel south in a jeep to explore mountains, villages, and beaches.

Our first stop is Agios Myronas, where we will learn about the island's history and the legends surrounding the holy water.

Next, we proceed to Prinias to visit the Rakokazano and learn about the process of making raki, a traditional beverage, followed by a tasting with local sweets.

We will then climb 800 meters (2625 ft) at the foothills of Asterousia Mountain for breathtaking views of Crete.

Continuing, we will explore the gorges of Asterousia and arrive at Trypitis Beach for a meal, including a main course, salad, and dessert.

Guests can enjoy a swim in the clear waters before proceeding to our final stop at Agios Thomas, featuring Roman tombs and Byzantine churches. The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Malia around 4 pm.
