Asterousia Mountain & Villages Jeep Safari

Pickup will be at 8 am from your hotel in Malia. We will travel south in a jeep, experiencing mountains, villages, and beaches.

The first stop is Agios Myronas, where we will explore the history and learn about the healing properties of the holy water.

Next, we visit Prinias to see the Rakokazano and learn the process of making raki, a traditional beverage, followed by a tasting with local sweets.

We will ascend to the foothills of Asterousia Mountain, climbing 800 meters (2625 ft) for breathtaking views of Crete.

Continuing through the gorges of Asterousia, we will reach Trypitis Beach, where we will enjoy a meal including a main course, salad, and dessert before swimming in the clear waters.

Our final stop is Agios Thomas, to visit Roman tombs and Byzantine churches. We will conclude the tour and return you to your hotel in Malia around 4 pm.
