Asterousia Mountain & Villages Jeep Safari

At 8 am, pickup will be at your hotel in Malia. We will travel by jeep to the southern part of Crete, exploring mountains, villages, and beaches.

Our first stop is Agios Myronas, where we will learn about the history of the island and the healing properties of the holy water.

Next, we will visit Prinias to explore the Rakokazano and the process of making raki, including a tasting paired with local sweets.

We will then ascend 800 meters (2625 ft) at the foothills of Asterousia Mountain for breathtaking views.

Continuing on, we will navigate the gorges of Asterousia to reach Trypitis Beach, where lunch will be served, featuring a main course, salad, and dessert.

You will have the opportunity to swim in the clear waters before we proceed to our final stop at Agios Thomas to see Roman tombs and Byzantine churches. We will return to your hotel in Malia around 4 pm.
