Asterousia Mountain & Villages Jeep Safari

At 8 am, pickup from your hotel in Malia will commence as we board a jeep to head towards southern Crete. This journey features mountains, villages, and beaches.

Our first stop will be the village of Agios Myronas, where we will explore the island's history and learn about the holy water in Agios Myronas.

Next, we will proceed to Prinias to visit the Rakokazano and learn about the process of making raki, a traditional beverage, and enjoy a tasting along with local sweets.

Continuing to the foothills of Asterousia Mountain, we will climb 800 meters (2625 ft) for stunning views of Crete. Following this, we will explore the gorges of Asterousia and arrive at Trypitis Beach where we will have a meal, including a main course, salad, and dessert.

There will be an opportunity for a swim in the beach's clear waters before the tour continues.

Our final stop will be Agios Thomas to visit Roman tombs and Byzantine churches. We will return to your hotel in Malia around 4 pm.
