Asterousia Mountain & Villages Jeep Safari

At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Malia. We’ll travel by jeep towards the south of Crete, visiting mountains, villages, and beaches.

Our first stop will be Agios Myronas, where we’ll explore the island's history and learn about the healing properties of the holy water.

Next, we will visit Prinias to learn about the process of making raki, a traditional beverage. Tasting of raki accompanied by local sweets will be included.

We will then ascend to the foothills of Asterousia Mountain, climbing 800 meters (2625 ft) for stunning panoramic views of Crete.

Afterward, we will navigate the gorges of Asterousia to reach Trypitis Beach, where a meal consisting of a main course, salad, and dessert will be served. You will have the opportunity to swim in the clear waters before continuing the tour.

Our final destination will be Agios Thomas, where we will visit Roman tombs and Byzantine churches. We will return to your hotel in Malia around 4 pm.
