Gramvousa & Balos Lagoon Excursion

We'll meet at the indicated time in Malia. From there, we'll head west until we reach Skaleta, a small town where we'll make a stop for breakfast.

With our batteries charged and ready to go, we'll make our way to Kissamos, where we will board a boat to take us to the island of Gramvousa. As we approach, we will witness its natural beauty, also known as 'Pirates Island.' From the boat, we will also observe a geological phenomenon unique to Gramvousa: the simultaneous lifting and sinking of both sides of the island.

Once we step foot on Gramvousa, we'll visit the Venetian fortress and uncover the island's history of pirates, enjoying views of the surrounding area. You will have free time to relax on the beaches, take a dip in the waters, explore the famous shipwreck, and bask in the sun.

In the afternoon, the group will return to the boat to visit Balos Lagoon, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. You will have more free time to enjoy this paradise before we head back to our starting point.

The tour will end after a total of 16 hours.
