Katharo Plateau and Sarakina Gorge Jeep Safari

Pickup from your hotel in Malia begins at 8 am. You will board an all-terrain vehicle to journey to the southeast of Crete.

During the ride, you will see the mountain landscapes of the island until reaching Kritsa, noted for its historic significance. Here, you will explore narrow streets, local houses, and traditional shops while learning about the village.

The journey continues across the Katharo plateau, standing at 1250 meters high (4100 ft), providing views of lush greenery populated by sheep.

Next, the tour includes the Selakano forest before arriving at the Sarakina gorge, where you will disembark the jeep to explore on foot.

A meal will follow, consisting of a main course, salad, and dessert. After lunch, the tour proceeds to Myrtos, allowing time for a swim in the sea before concluding.

Return to your hotel in Malia is scheduled for around 4 pm.
