Palace of Knossos & Lasithi Plateau Excursion

The tour begins at 7:30 am with a pickup from the meeting point in Malia. The first stop is the Palace of Knossos, an emblematic site in Crete.

Explore the palace complex of former King Minos featuring over 1,500 interconnected rooms. Visit the throne room, royal quarters, and the stone theater, and learn about the legend of the Cretan Minotaur.

View the stunning murals preserved inside, crucial remnants of the sophisticated Minoan culture. After touring the Palace, the group will proceed to the Lasithi Plateau to appreciate Crete's natural beauty.

There will be a stop at the Keras Kardiotissas Monastery, known for its mural paintings, followed by a visit to see the iconic windmills from the Venetian era.

The excursion concludes with a visit to the village of Psychro for a ceramics workshop. Afterward, you'll be taken back to the meeting point in Malia, arriving around 6:30 pm.
