Explore some of the most charming corners of the Cretan coastline and go for a swim in a beautiful bay on this excursion to Spinalonga and Kolokitha from Malia.

Spinalonga & Kolokitha Excursion

We'll meet at 8 am in Malia and head to Elounda harbor. There, we'll board a boat and sail to the beach of Kolokitha, where we'll anchor for a swim and optional barbecue on board.

Afterward, we will cross the bay of Mirabello to the island of Spinalonga, an abandoned site with a history of Venetian and Ottoman rule and its battles.

During the tour, we'll view the great fortress and imposing walls that defended this Aegean archipelago islet. Notably, it served as a leper colony at the beginning of the 20th century.

After learning about Cretan history, we will return to Malia, arriving at around 7 pm.
