4x4 Tour and Hike in the Mampituba Canyons

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância, where we'll hop into a 4x4 vehicle to begin this activity in the canyons of Mampituba. Adventure awaits!

We'll then start our journey of about 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) through the ancient Serra do Silveirão, a site enriched with stories and legends. We'll learn about them on the way.

Our 4x4 adventure continues at the Josafez farm, where we'll enjoy a hiking route of around 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) along the eastern edge of the Josafez canyon. In this area, known as Garganta do Silveirão, we'll appreciate the natural beauty of the Lage waterfall and the Teimosa waterfall, as well as the native wildlife and flora.

After the hike, we'll hop back into our 4x4 and return to the starting point. Along the way, we'll stop at the Avião viewpoint for vistas of the landscapes and visit the unique stone cemetery in the region.

After about 4 hours of activity, we'll conclude our tour of the Mampituba canyons at the starting point.
