4x4 Tour and Hike in the Mampituba Canyons

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância, where we'll hop into a powerful 4x4 vehicle to begin our activity in the canyons of Mampituba. Adventure awaits!

We'll start our journey of about 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) through the ancient and inhospitable Serra do Silveirão, a site rich in stories and legends that we will explore along the way.

Next, at the Josafez farm, we will exit the vehicle to enjoy a hiking route of around 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) along the eastern edge of the Josafez canyon. In this area, known as Garganta do Silveirão, we will see the Lage waterfall and the Teimosa waterfall, along with native wildlife and flora.

After the hike, we will hop back into our 4x4 and return to the starting point, stopping at the Avião viewpoint for vistas of the surrounding landscapes. Additionally, we will visit the unique stone cemetery in the region, adding intrigue to our journey.

After about 4 hours of activity, we'll conclude our tour of the Mampituba canyons at the starting point.
