4x4 Tour and Hike in the Mampituba Canyons

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância to begin the tour in a powerful 4x4 vehicle. This journey will cover approximately 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) through the ancient Serra do Silveirão. Stories and legends associated with the area will be shared during the ride.

Next, we will arrive at the Josafez farm, where we will embark on a hiking route of around 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) along the eastern edge of the Josafez canyon at Garganta do Silveirão. Here, we will observe the Lage waterfall and the Teimosa waterfall, along with local wildlife and flora.

After the hike, we will return to the 4x4 to head back to the starting point, stopping at the Avião viewpoint for scenic views and visiting the unique stone cemetery in the region for added interest.

The entire tour will last approximately 4 hours before concluding at the starting point.
