4x4 Tour and Hike in the Mampituba Canyons

Description

At the designated time, we will meet at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância to begin the activity in the canyons of Mampituba using a 4x4 vehicle.

The journey will cover approximately 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) through the Serra do Silveirão, rich in stories and legends.

Our 4x4 adventure continues at the Josafez farm, where we will embark on a hiking route of around 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) along the eastern edge of the Josafez canyon. In this region, known as Garganta do Silveirão, we will view the Lage waterfall and the Teimosa waterfall, as well as local wildlife and flora.

After the hike, we will return to the 4x4 and head back to the starting point. We will stop at the Avião viewpoint for scenic views and visit the unique stone cemetery in the region.

After approximately 4 hours of activity, we will conclude our tour of the Mampituba canyons at the starting point.
