Mampituba Rural Tour

On this rural tour of Mampituba, we'll immerse ourselves in the culture and traditional cuisine of Rio Grande do Sul, the southernmost state in Brazil.

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância, before beginning our rural tour of Mampituba aboard a Volkswagen van.

Our journey aboard the Volkswagen van will take us through the rural landscapes of Mampituba, making our first stop at Engenho Nobre, where we'll enjoy a tasting of traditional liquors from the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

We'll then hop back in our van and make our way back to the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância. Here, you'll explore an extensive exhibition of farming tools, toys, furniture, and other items that provide insight into the rural life of Mampituba.

Following the visit, we'll enjoy a craft workshop within the museum, where the staff at Sítio Cultural will demonstrate how traditional local products are made, accompanied by live music.

To complete our experience, we'll enjoy food at the museum estate. Depending on your chosen time, it'll be either lunch or a snack. Lunch includes juice, a main course (free-range chicken, pork, or beef), rice, beans, polenta, salads, and farofa. The snack consists of juice, coffee with milk, pies, bread, jams, pork rinds, cheese, salami, blood sausage, pastries, sweet milk, and pine nuts.

After replenishing our energy, we'll bid farewell at Sítio Cultural after 3-4 hours.
