Mampituba Rural Tour

On this rural tour of Mampituba, we'll immerse ourselves in the culture and traditional cuisine of Rio Grande do Sul, the southernmost state in Brazil.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância, before beginning our rural tour of Mampituba aboard a Volkswagen van.

Our journey will take us through the rural landscapes of Mampituba, making our first stop at Engenho Nobre, where we'll enjoy a tasting of traditional liquors from the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

We'll then return to the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância, where you'll explore an extensive exhibition of farming tools, toys, furniture, and other items that provide insight into rural life.

Following the visit, we'll participate in a craft workshop at the museum, guided by staff accompanied by live music, demonstrating how traditional local products are made.

To complete our experience, we'll enjoy food on the estate where the museum is located. Depending on your time choice, you'll have either lunch or a snack. Lunch includes juice, a main course (free-range chicken, pork, or beef), rice, beans, polenta, salads, and farofa. The snack includes juice, coffee with milk, pies, bread, jams, pork rinds, cheese, salami, blood sausage, pastries, sweet milk, and pine nuts.

After replenishing our energy, we'll conclude our tour at Sítio Cultural after 3-4 hours.
