Mampituba Waterfalls 4x4 Tour and Hike

In this hiking route through the Mampituba waterfalls, we'll go to the most famous waterfalls of Rio Grande do Sul aboard a 4x4 vehicle.

Description

At your selected time, we'll meet at the Sítio Cultural Museu da Estância, where we'll begin our 4x4 tour of Mampituba and its waterfalls.

We will traverse an area of lush forests and banana trees before reaching our first stop. Here, we will take a 1.6-kilometre (1 mile) hiking trail to the Leite waterfall, located next to the Itaimbezinho Canyon, cascading into a natural pool.

Afterward, we'll return to the 4x4 to continue our route through the landscapes of Mampituba to a second stop, where we will hike approximately 2 kilometres (1.2 miles) to the Cipó waterfall.

At this waterfall, near the border of Rio Grande do Sul/Santa Catarina, you will have about 20 minutes to take a refreshing dip. The weather in this region is generally pleasant, making this a good opportunity to relax after the hike.

Finally, we will walk back to the trailhead, where the 4x4 vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Mampituba, with an estimated arrival time of approximately 2 hours after pickup.
