Sakhir Desert Excursion

A camel farm and the Bahrain International Circuit of Formula 1 are some of the places visited on this excursion to the Sakhir Desert.

Description

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Manama to begin this tour to the Sakhir Desert. The first stop will be the Royal Camel Farm, founded by an Arab sheikh named Mohammed Bin Salman Al Khalifa. You'll have the opportunity to interact with the camels and their carers.

Next, we will visit the Bahrain International Circuit, the main stage for Formula 1 races in the Middle East, where you can take a photo next to an F1 car.

Our tour will continue to the first oil site in the Gulf region, the first well that began producing oil in 1931.

We will then head to the Tree of Life, a 400-year-old tree standing almost 10 meters (32.8 feet) tall, the only tree in the area.

Afterward, we will visit a pottery workshop to observe craftsmen making clay pots. Finally, we will explore the Dilmun Burial Mounds, which are 4200 years old.

After 4 hours, the tour will end back at the meeting point.
