Tour Details

After picking you up from your hotel, we'll head to the port of Manaus, where we'll board a high-speed boat before heading to the Amazon jungle.

Following a brief trip, we arrive at the lush green banks of the Black River to begin our walking tour through the Amazon jungle. This approximately 3-hour hike includes walking on trails and plains, as well as viewing the ruins of the ancient Ariau Towers hotel.

During the hike, we will discover the rich botanical and animal heritage of the area, learning to distinguish between the region's flora and fauna. Our guide will explain the traditional uses of Amazon plants and how some animals benefit from the endemic vegetation.

After concluding the jungle tour, we'll return to the boat to head up the Black River to the Anavilhanas Islands, known for its "floating forests." A traditional lunch on the river's shore will feature local fish and fresh fruit, with an indoor option in case of rain.

After lunch, we'll return to Manaus. The total duration of the tour is approximately 7 to 9 hours, concluding with your return to the hotel via minibus.
