Amazon Jungle and Anavilhanas Islands Day Tour

Explore the wild nature of the Amazon jungle and the Anavilhanas islands on this tour.

Itinerary

The tour begins with pick-up from your hotel, followed by a trip to the port of Manaus to board a high-speed boat headed to the Amazon jungle.

After a brief ride, we will arrive at the banks of the Black River to start a walking tour through the Amazon jungle, which lasts approximately 3 hours. During the hike, participants will learn about the diverse flora and fauna of the region.

Led by our expert guide, you will discover how the uses of Amazon plants have been traditionally transmitted. Information on birds and monkeys that benefit from the endemic vegetation will also be provided.

After the jungle tour, we will return to the boat to navigate up the Black River to the Anavilhanas islands. The tour includes a visit to the area's biodiverse ‘floating forests’.

A local fish lunch is provided on the riverbank. In case of rain, lunch will take place inside one of the well-known floating houses.

Post-lunch, we will depart for Manaus around 4:30 pm, where a minibus will be available at the wharf for your return to the hotel.
