Tour Details

Day 1

From your hotel in Manaus, we'll begin an hour-long journey to the town of Cachoeira do Castanho. During the trip, we'll learn about the Amazonian landscapes. Upon arrival, we'll board a boat to sail on the Rio Negro until we reach Anaconda Amazon Island. We will have lunch upon arriving at our base camp. In the afternoon, we'll take a canoe trip to fish for piranhas and seek crocodiles, ending the day back at camp for dinner.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will embark on a 3.5-hour hike through the jungle. Our guide will instruct us on the uses of Amazon plants by local indigenous people. We will return to camp for lunch. Post-lunch, we will enjoy a canoe ride along the Amazon tributary system, concluding with dinner at camp.

Day 3

Following breakfast, we will walk to an Indian village in the Amazon to learn about the local customs. After lunch at base camp, you'll have the afternoon free to swim in the Rio Negro. We will depart for Manaus, arriving back at your hotel by around 4:30 pm.

Accommodation and Food

The tour includes two nights’ accommodation at a campsite in the Amazon jungle, featuring air-conditioned bedrooms and private bathrooms. You will receive all meals on the itinerary: two breakfasts, two dinners, and three lunches.
