Amazon Jungle Three Day Tour

Day 1

Starting from your hotel in Manaus, we will go to the port and take a speedboat across the Black River to the town of Cacau Pirera, a crossing that lasts half an hour with informative commentary about the Amazon region.

Upon arrival at Cacau Pirera, a private car will transport you through the Amazon vegetation to the village of Paricatuba. This 50-minute journey offers sightings of various plant and animal species. At Paricatuba, we will take a motorized canoe to reach our base camp for lunch.

In the afternoon, experience piranha fishing during a canoe trip, followed by a night-time walking tour in search of nocturnal wildlife. We conclude the day with dinner at the camp.

Day 2

After breakfast, embark on a two-and-a-half-hour hike through the jungle, during which the guide will explain the uses of Amazon plants by indigenous populations. Return to the camp for lunch.

Post-lunch, enjoy a relaxing canoe ride along the Amazon tributary system, then return to camp for dinner and rest.

Day 3

After breakfast, walk to an Indian village to learn about local customs and lifestyle.

Post-lunch, enjoy some free time to swim in the Black River. Around 4 pm, we will take the speedboat back to the port in Manaus and return you to your hotel.

Accommodation and food

The tour includes two nights’ accommodation at a campsite in the Amazon jungle, with all meals on the itinerary: two breakfasts, two dinners, and three lunches. Reservations include a choice of air-conditioned or non air-conditioned accommodation.
