Amazon Jungle Three Day Tour

Day 1

From your hotel in Manaus, we head to the port to catch a speedboat across the Black River to the small town of Cacau Pirera. The crossing lasts no more than half an hour, during which you will learn about the region. Upon arrival, a private car will take you through the Amazon vegetation to the village of Paricatuba. This 50-minute journey provides views of various plant and animal species. At Paricatuba, we take a motorized canoe to our base camp for lunch. In the afternoon, we experience canoe piranha fishing and conclude with a night-time walking tour to observe nocturnal wildlife, returning for dinner at the camp.

Day 2

After breakfast, we begin a two-and-a-half-hour hike through the jungle, where our guide will explain the uses of Amazon plants by local indigenous people. We return for lunch and then enjoy a relaxing canoe ride along the Amazon tributary system, followed by dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3

We start with breakfast before hiking to an Indian village to learn about local customs. After lunch at our base camp, you will have the afternoon free for a swim in the Black River. At around 4 pm, we will take the speedboat back to Manaus and return you to your hotel.

Accommodation and food

The tour includes two nights’ accommodation at a campsite in the Amazon jungle, along with all meals on the itinerary: two breakfasts, two dinners, and three lunches. When reserving, choose between air-conditioned and non air-conditioned accommodation.
