On this day trip to the Meeting of the Waters, we will visit the point where the Negro and Solimões rivers converge and an indigenous village for a cultural exchange in the Amazon.
Activity Details
At the designated time, pickup will be from your hotel in Manaus, followed by a transfer to the port to board a boat heading to the Meeting of the Waters.
During the boat ride, we will observe the distinctive feature of this natural site, where the Negro and Solimões rivers meet. Following this, we will visit a floating market to learn about the local lifestyle.
Next, we will proceed to a fish farm to view one of the largest freshwater fish species worldwide, the pirarucu. Afterward, we will enjoy a traditional lunch in a floating restaurant.
Post-lunch, we will swim with the pink dolphins of the Amazon for a memorable experience.
We will then visit an indigenous village of the Amazon to learn about their customs through cultural exchange. An optional indigenous body painting workshop is available for those interested in delving deeper into the community’s traditions.
Finally, we will return you to your hotel, arriving approximately 7 hours after pickup.
