Museu da Amazônia Tour

On this tour of the Museu da Amazônia, we will explore the Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve, which spans 100 hectares of forest.

Tour Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Manaus at the scheduled time and proceed directly to the Museu da Amazônia.

Our first stop will be the O Lenhador restaurant for lunch before heading to the Museu da Amazônia, also known as MUSA.

At MUSA, we will walk along the trails to observe the diverse ecosystem. Look out for butterflies, turtles, and fish during our exploration.

Visits include the orchidarium, bromeliarium, and aquarium, where we will discuss their conservation and ecological significance. We will also see the reptilarium to observe various species of snakes endemic to the Amazon.

To conclude our visit to the museum and forest reserve, we will ascend to an observatory 42 metres (137 ft) high for a panoramic view of the Brazilian Amazon.

We will watch the sunset from this viewpoint, capturing stunning images of one of the most biodiverse places in the world.

After 6 hours of exploring the rich flora of the Amazon, we will return you to your hotel in Manaus.
