During this excursion to the Museum of the Amazon, we will uncover the marvels of the Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve, which spans an impressive 100 hectares of untouched wilderness.

Tour Overview

Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your Manaus hotel at the scheduled time. We will promptly transport you to the Museum of the Amazon. Are you ready to delve into the lush landscapes surrounding Manaus?

Our first stop will be at the O Lenhador restaurant where you can enjoy a satisfying lunch. Once recharged, we will set off to explore the Museu da Amazônia, often referred to as MUSA.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a nature walk along various trails, immersing ourselves in the vibrant biodiversity that thrives within this forest. Prepare to be accompanied by a plethora of local wildlife, including butterflies, turtles, and fish as we make our way through the greenery.

Your experience will also include a visit to the orchidarium, bromeliarium, and aquarium, where we will gain insights into their roles in conserving the unique ecosystem of the region. Additionally, the tour includes a stop at the reptilarium, providing a chance to observe several snake species endemic to the Amazon.

As the grand finale of our museum and forest exploration, we will ascend to an observatory standing 42 meters (137 ft) high. From this vantage point, you will be able to appreciate the breathtaking view of the Brazilian Amazon in all its glory.

But the journey doesn't end there; we will also have the opportunity to witness a captivating sunset from this viewpoint, allowing for stunning photographs of one of the most biodiverse locations on the planet—a truly enchanting sight!

After an exhilarating 6-hour adventure through the remarkable flora of the Amazon, we will return you to your hotel in Manaus.
