After picking you up at your hotel in Mancora at 8 am, we will head to Tumbes, located in northwest Peru. We will travel by road to Puerto Pizarro, known for its mangrove forests, characteristic of intertropical South America, extending from the Gulf of Guayaquil to Playa Hermosa, forming passable water channels on the Tumbes River delta.
We will visit notable mangrove islets, starting with Isla de los Pajaros (Bird Island), known for its indigenous bird population. Additionally, we will pass La Isla Hueso de Ballena (Whale Bone Island) and stop at La Isla del Amor (Love Island), where you will have free time to relax and experience local gastronomy.
Before returning to Mancora, we will visit the center of Tumbes to see its main square and make a stop at La Playa de Amotape (Amotape Beach), renowned for its turquoise waters. We will arrive back in Mancora and drop you off at your hotel at approximately 3 pm.
