Swimming with Sea Turtles at Vichayito Beach

Description

The tour begins with a pickup at Hotel Máncora y Pocitas, and we will travel by bus to the Máncora dock. We will embark on a boat ride along the northern coast of Peru, sailing past Los Órganos and Vichayito beach to take in the extensive sandy shores of the Pacific Ocean. The shoreline offers vast views that will be memorable. If weather permits, we may spot sea lions and other wildlife during the ride.

After a safety briefing and securing life jackets, we will jump into the Pacific to swim with Peruvian sea turtles. Vichayito beach provides optimal conditions for these marine animals in a natural ecosystem. By remaining calm and at a distance, participants may observe the turtles up close, with some weighing up to 200 kg (440 lbs).

After swimming with the turtles and enjoying the ocean, we will return to the boat and head back to the original point of departure to conclude the day.
